Cold temperatures: If your dog has been shaved for surgery or has short hair, the Medical Pet Shirt will provide protection against the cold and allow your dog to maintain its optimum body temperature. Step 1: Roll up the shirt with the middle head opening in your hand. Make sure that the light blue inner layer is facing down. Insert your dog’s head through the opening. Step 5: Secure the two flaps with the snaps/poppers. We advise to close all snaps/poppers to keep the shirt perfectly in place. The Medical Pet Shirt will effectively protect your dog's wounds and bandages, while allowing it to move freely.Important: make sure to take out the internal flexible ribs from the MPS-Head Cover® and to fasten the straps and popper (snap) buttons before you start washing. The first time you use the Medical Pet Shirt, we recommend closely watching your pet's behaviour. Sometimes, you may have to adjust the vest. We recommend staying with your pet when you first put the vest on, and to play with your dog and distract it, so that it can slowly get used to the vest.
